*Please note: this does NOT apply to all situations. It does not apply to all relationship between old and young people, it does not apply to all filipinos, it does not apply to all older people*
What does “Matandang Madaling Mamatay” mean? The literal translation is “an old man who is going to die soon”. This is the classic gold digger and it is pretty universal. This happens in the North American, South America, Africa, Asian.. all over the world NOT JUST THE PHILIPPINES!!!
It is where a young man or woman has a relationship with an older successful person for the person of gaining their money.
It is a cold brutal truth that happens everywhere.
We can see the perspective of both. From the young ladies eyes, she wants a good life with the least amount of work possible. Is it right? No. From the older man/or woman’s perspective, they are looking for an attractive looking young tight body. Is it right? Not if that is all you want.
Both are focused on material things. If both of these materialistic people go into the relationship with eyes open, then who are we to judge their arrangement?
